St Vincent de Paul Volunteer Opportunities
Thank you for your interest in volunteering at St Vincent de Paul in Redmond, Oregon. We have a variety of volunteer opportunities available, and we will find a way for you to best help our organization after providing your qualifying application.
St Vincent de Paul in Redmond helps hundreds of people in the community by providing thousands of dollars in monetary assistance, clothing, and household items every month. Also, hundreds of families in need receive food boxes. We are dedicated to serving the poor and providing others with the opportunity to serve. Volunteering provides benefits to the members in the community including you! Volunteering can provide hours for many different programs, increase job skills, and provide fulfillment and purpose.

An approved application is followed up by an informal interview. This may then be followed by an orientation and introduction to your work area. Flexibility and time management are important when volunteering. We may need you in multiple departments or move you to a different department depending on our current needs. Also, please be on time for appointments and your scheduled work time. We have a large, busy operation that runs smoothly with proper time management. Our Food Pantry Expands!
Beginning in February our Food Pantry expanded to a third service day! In addition to our normal Wednesday and Thursday, 10:00am - 1:30pm hours, we are now open on Tuesdays from 2:00pm to 5:30pm! We look forward to serving more of our wonderful Redmond community. See you there!
Thrift Store Volunteers needed
We are looking for volunteers to join our thrift store . Volunteers will assist with sorting donations, organizing and restocking items, and helping customers. This is a great opportunity to contribute and support our mission of providing essential services to the community.

We are looking for volunteers to join our food pantry. Volunteers will assist with sorting food donations, organizing and restocking items, and helping customers. This is a great opportunity to contribute to our community, gain food service experience, and support our mission of providing essential services to the community.
Bilingual Volunteers Needed
We are looking for dedicated bilingual volunteers fluent in Spanish to assist in all departments. As our Latino population continues to grow, we need your language skills to help bridge communication gaps and provide exceptional support to our community members. Volunteers will work in various roles, including the thrift store, food pantry, financial assistance services, and outreach programs.
Are there other drop off locations to donate?
We do not have an additional drop off location for this SVdP location. If you would like to donate, we accept donations of gently used items Monday through Thursday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, and on Fridays and Saturdays from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm.

What items can I donate to the thrift store?
You can donate a wide variety of items to St. Vincent de Paul Redmond, Oregon. We gladly accept gently used clothing, household goods, furniture, books, DVDs, CDs, collectibles, antiques, and other items in good condition. Currently, we are in particular need of personal care items such as shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and razors, as well as baby wipes, diapers, sleeping bags, and tents. Your donations help support our thrift store and various community programs.

What are the hours of operation for the thrift store and food pantry?
The food pantry is open Tuesday from 2:00 pm to 5:30 pm and Wednesday and Thursday from 10:00 am to 1:30 pm. The thrift store is open Monday - Saturday 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
